SAFER workshop at ASPC 2022 “Boosting Blue SMEs: best practice, challenges and opportunities towards Atlantic Excellence"
SAFER project, funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, will have an active participation during the 9th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference (ASPC 2022). ASPC 2022 will take place two years after the launch of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 – A New Approach to the Atlantic Maritime Strategy. The occasion provides stakeholders of the Atlantic Community the opportunity to review the current state-of-play of the Atlantic Action Plan and the way forward. It also presents opportunities to introduce the Community to new players, projects and innovative ways to collaborate toward its implementation.
The Conference will be organised as a hybrid event that will be held on the 1st and 2nd of December 2022 at the Palacio de Congresos in Cadiz, Spain and online. This year the ASPC will be back-to-back with InnovAzul.
SAFER project will be present during the workshop “Boosting Blue SMEs: best practice, challenges and opportunities towards Atlantic Excellence - Featuring AspBAN, SAFER and FANBEST projects” that the CPMR Atlantic Arc Commission organises on December 1st, 2022, 15.00-16.00 CET.
Jose Manuel San Emeterio, from ERNACT as project leader, will reflect on the SAFER experience and explain how it contributes to support Blue SMEs in the Atlantic.
He will also provide the views on the creation of an EU Flagship programme on Blue Acceleration in ports to cope with the lack of clarity on support delivered to blue SMEs and green transition in ports.
