SAFER featured during a marine conference in Donegal

Attendees could hear about project aim, partnership, main benefits, outputs and results.
SAFER project lead partner, ERNACT, attended on the 5th and 6th of September the 'Donegal Marine Tourism Conference' in Inishowen Peninsula (Ireland), organised by Donegal County Council, Donegal Tourism and Atlantic Area funded CAPITEN project (Atlantic Cluster for Technological and Economic Innovation in the Nautical Sector).

During the conference, ERNACT got the opportunity to promote SAFER in the exhibition area. Over 100 attendees could learn more about project aim, partnership, main benefits, outputs and results, among others. ERNACT Project Manager Caitriona Strain explained that SAFER is providing opportunities to introduce new processes in the seafood industry and improving efficiency and communication between actors in the seafood value chain.

"This ERNACT led project is improving the innovation performance of the seafood sector. We have addressed many opportunities and challenges to achieve a smart socioeconomic growth in the Atlantic regions that are participating in SAFER: Donegal, Derry and Strabane, Cantabria, Brittany and Norte", adds Strain.
