The Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference (ASPC2020) will take place on the 19th and 20th of November in a fully virtual event. It will bring together high level officials, renowned experts and leading entrepreneurs to talk about the new Atlantic maritime strategy, particularly in context to the participating countries’ recovery efforts.
The ASPC2020 will also feature high level plenaries and a panel session that will introduce the pillars of Atlantic Action Plan 2.0. Interactive workshops and networking activities, and a virtual exhibition for registered participants to exchange views and information to seek ways of cooperation, share information and identify funding opportunities and partnerships for their projects.
As part of Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference programme, SAFER project is organising a workshop that takes place on 19th November (13:00 – 14:30 CET). ‘A SAFER approach to innovation in aquaculture: How cooperation can support ports to become hubs of the blue economy’ by SAFER project partner Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe – CPMR.
At the workshop they will give an overview of a SAFER approach on innovation in aquaculture and demonstrate how transnational cooperation and a small amount of seed funding can stimulate innovative businesses and play a role in building an innovative port ecosystem to foster a sustainable blue economy.
2020 Atlantic Project Awards
ASPC2020 will also serve to announce the winners of the 2020 Atlantic Project Awards, the prestigious awards honoring success stories achieved by projects in the geographical area covered by the Atlantic Strategy and related to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0. SAFER applied for the awards, so we are looking forward to knowing the awarded projects.
